Janice Carolle Saile
Janice Carolle Saile, 80, of Hawks passed away peacefully at home June 7, 2019 surrounded by her family.
She was born February 6, 1939 in Detroit to Evan and Mazie (Wilson) Cheney.
Carolle graduated from East Detroit High School in 1957. On December 29, 1967 she married Wayne Saile Sr. in Detroit. They moved to Hawks in 1982 where she enjoyed her family, quilting, gardening, reading and traveling.
Mrs. Saile is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Sr.; six children, Michael of Gaylord, Karen (Pat) Lamb of Hawks, Wayne Jr. (Shannon) of Hawks, Ethan (Danielle) of Hawks, Adam (Lisa) of Rogers City and Alison of Hawks; 10 grandchildren, Evan, Corinne, Justin, Alexis, Jazmyn, Madison, Brooke, Danae, Sarah and Tyler; a great-grandson, Preston; a brother, Peyton (Donna) Cheney of Lovells; close cousin, Suzanne Strickland of Atlanta, Georgia; and special friend, Donna French of Rogers City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evan and Mazie; and a grandson, Wyatt.
Friends visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Wednesday through time of her funeral with the Rev. J. Derek Riddle officiating.
Interment took place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
