Sally L. Regan
Sally L. Regan, 68, of Millersburg, died at McLaren Northern Michigan, Cheboygan Campus, Sunday, August 8, 2021. The daughter of John C. and Doris (Chilson) Arbaugh, Sally was born May 1, 1953 in Lansing where she lived until she moved to Millersburg.
Sally loved living in northern Michigan. A person who was quite private and kept to herself, Sally loved the quiet peacefulness of Millersburg and living out in the country surrounded by nature. She liked to paint, often setting-up outside to be inspired by her surroundings and enjoy the outdoors. An animal lover, she enjoyed feeding the birds, raising her chickens, and loved her dogs. She enjoyed collecting things, including glass paperweights, dog and chicken figurines, and dolls. Sally also had a collection of angels that was very special to her as she and her longtime companion and soul mate, Christopher, had built the collection together.
A homemaker and mother, Sally loved her family very much. She leaves her son, Christopher (Maureen) Regan of Rogers City; daughters, Cari (Chad) Compton of Millersburg and Catie Regan; grandchildren, Megan, Calvin, Branden, Cara, Noah and Travis; as well as her sister, Wendy (Brian) Regan and family of Lansing. Sally was preceded in death by her parents; and her longtime companion, Christopher Barnum (2020).
Sally will be honored by her family privately. Cremation arrangements were in care of Chagnon Funeral Home.
