She was born September 20, 1954 in Rogers City to John and Ann (Sobeck) Lijewski.

Jane is survived by siblings, John (Diane) Lijewski Jr. of Rogers City, Dolores Wootten of Hillman, Gary Lijewski of Presque Isle, Cathy Woloszyk of Posen, Norma (Gary) Edmonds of Posen, Karen (Tim Ball) Piper of Lachine, Charlie Lijewski of Posen and Patrick Lijewski of Posen; a sister-in-law, Alice Lijewski of Posen; and many nieces and nephews.
