Elizabeth “Libby” J. Roat

Elizabeth “Libby” J. Roat, 72, of Onaway, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Scott) Aguirre of Rochester Hills; son, Mitchell (Danielle) Roat of Onaway; and nine grandchildren; as well as her sisters, Judith Bancroft and Margi (Wayne) Berry, both of Onaway; brothers, Russell (Debbie) Hayner of Atlanta, Lynn (Melinda) Hayner and Jeremy (Sandy) Hayner, both of Onaway; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Libby’s funeral service was held at the Onaway Sevneteh-day Adventist Church last week Friday July 21. Those planning an expression of sympathy please consider a donation to Libby’s family to help with final expenses. Arrangements were in care of Chagnon Funeral Home.
