Terry Royden Schefke
Terry Royden Schefke, 67, of Jarrell, Texas, formerly of Rogers City, passed away July 17, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Terry was born October 11, 1955 in Rogers City to the late Royden and Marceline (Kuebler) Schefke. On June 21, 1986 he married Cynthia Ann Desmond.
Terry is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his mother, Marce Schefke; a son, Cory of Michigan; a daughter, Trina (Joe) Picciurro; and seven grandchildren, Franco, Joey, Miqueli, Carlo, Sal, Giuliana and Gianna, all of Florida.
He also leaves behind a sister, Sherri (Vic) Kuhlman and children, Vicki and Chris; a brother, Alan (Debbie) Schefke and children, Andrew and Shelby; and a sister, Marci (Don) Dehring and children, Ashley and D.J.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Royden Schefke in July 2022.
Terry was a 1973 graduate of Rogers City High School. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1974-1979. Terry had a long career in the automotive parts and service industry including Chrysler/Dodge in Michigan and recreational vehicle dealerships in Texas.
Terry was a Christian and was always eager to help others with any tasks. He had a great wit and always made people laugh.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 7, at noon at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Jarrell, Texas.
