Christina Lynne Derry

Christina Lynne Derry, 60, of Rogers Township passed away peacefully at home November 11, 2025. 

She was born in Onaway to Richard and Sally (Nerring) Gibelyou March 3, 1965. 

Christina graduated from Alpena High School. She enjoyed snowmobiling, Jeeping, and going to the drag races with Ed, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. 

She is survived by her fiance’, Ed Sorget; two children, Lucien (Jacy) DeRoque and April (James) Waeiss; five stepchildren, Denise (Timothy) Kirkpatrick, Christina (Travis) Schultz, Bo

bbie (Jody) Serum, AJ Sorget and Michelle Sorget; five grandchildren, Jaide, Evelyn, Millie, Paisley and Jackson; three brothers, Perry (Marie Mulka) Perrou, Andy Gibelyou and Kevin Gibelyou. 

Christina was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Terry Gibelyou. 

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Wednesday, November 19, from 1 p.m. through time of her memorial service at 2 p.m. 

Inurnment will follow at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.
