Beverly “Bev” Ann Savina

Beverly “Bev” Ann Savina, 90, of Rogers City passed away at home surrounded by her family Wednesday, December 3, 2025. 

She was born in Rogers City June 2, 1935 to Benjamin and Sally (Strzelecki) Kamyszek. 

Bev graduated from Rogers City High School in 1953. She was employed at the Presque Isle County Advance for many years then worked at Nautical Lanes where she was a youth bowling instructor. 

Bev opened Huron Shores Abstract and Title Company that she ran until she retired in 2016 at the age of 81. 

She was past president of the Rogers City Chamber of Commerce, 2017 grand marshal of the Nautical City Festival parade, she hosted many garden walks in Rogers City and was a member of the Rosary Society at St. Ignatius Catholic Church and a member of its choir. 

She is survived by her children, Julie Auriemma, Laura (Dave) Grossman, Mike (Diana Lowe) Savina, John (Tomoko) Savina and Diana Ghiata; a son-in-law, Glen Momrik; 12 grandchildren, Rachel (Dylan Stark) Auriemma , Robert (Amy) Grossman, Anthony Grossman, Grace Savina, Joseph Savina, Nicole Momrik, Jessica (Keith) McLennan, Arata (Miki) Namiki, Ryo Namiki, Yui Inaniwa, Aaron Ghiata and Sam Ghiata; three great-grandchildren, Saige, Itsuke and Nao; a brother, David Kamyszek; and two sisters-in-law, Donna Kamyszek and Kal Kamyszek. 

Bev was preceded in death by

a daughter, Claire Momrik; and four brothers, Kenneth, Donald, Robert (Kathy) and infant William. 

Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Sunday, December 7, through time of rosary followed by prayers and a time of sharing memories. 

Inurnment will take place at Memorial Park at a later date. 

Memorials may be given to Seconds on Third Resale Shop or to Hospice of Michigan in memory of Beverly Savina.
