Presque Isle Newspapers back on the web with locally-developed site

The Presque Isle Advance is now on the web, thanks to our new website developed by RCHS grad, and Ferris State University masters graduate Dennis Smolinski. The site hit the internet in early November while still in the construction stages. The announcement of its “birth” was made in last week’s issues of The Presque Isle County Advance and the Onaway Outlook. (If you would like to receive a newsletter from the PIAdvance.com, please sign up by clicking on the newsletter icon to the top right.)

PIN had a website in late 1997 and 1998 but has not had a presence on the web since then. “It is a great opportunuty to have our new presented in another format,” said publisher Richard Lamb. “We are thrilled to have Denny’s talents available to us to give us a first-class site with local information that only Presque Isle Newspapers can provide.”

In addition to local news stories, the website will have a photo gallery with some photos not published in the Advance or Onaway Outlook.

Advertisers will have the opportunity to purchase banner advertisements, which will appear to the right of every page, or to be listed in the business listings.
