Stella Florence Smigelski
Stella Florence Smigelski,103, passed away peacefully at home March 4, 2023.
She was born August 8, 1919 in Detroit to Andrew and Agatha (Blasczyk) Zyracki. Stella is survived by her sister, Sophie Zyracki of Posen; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, January 15, 2012; two sisters, Gladys and Genevieve; a brother, Stanley; her parents; and grandpa George. Stella was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and its Rosary Sodality.
Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Wednesday, March 8, from where the Rosary Sodality led the rosary followed by the parish wake service with the Rev. Arthur Duchnowicz conducting. Visitation will resume at St. Casimir Catholic Church today (Thursday, March 9) from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. with the Revs. Stan Bereda and Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.
Burial will take place in the spring at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in memory of Stella Smigelski to St. Casimir Catholic Church for Masses.
