Jeffrey “Jeff” Michael Plath
Jeffrey “Jeff” Michael Plath, 74, of Posen passed away peacefully August 24, 2025.
He was born in Rogers City to Emil “Moe” and Edna Helen (Dagner) Plath November 17, 1950.
From a young age, Jeff’s father and grandfather included him in the day to day duties and activities associated with the family business. He quickly learned what was involved with making a successful business run smoothly. Jeff graduated from Rogers City High School in 1969. He served in Korea during the Vietnam War in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). After returning home he received a certificate in photography and opened Art Master Photography in Rogers City.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; a son, Casee (Maisie) Plath; four brothers, Tim (Margie) Plath, James (Virginia) Plath, John (Kathy) Plath and Mark (Audrey) Plath; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Moe and Helen.
The Rev. Dale DuVerney will conduct his graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery Friday, August 29, at 2 p.m. followed by military honors accorded by the Rogers City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 607.
