Sports coming in this week’s edition

Winter sports has begun in the county. High school teams are in action this week as the Huron wrestling team hosted a meet last Thursday. We will have all of the results in the Advance.

Both the Hurons and Vikings will be hosting basketball games Tuesday. The Hurons are coming off their highest win total ever in a season and have many returning players from last year’s 22-3 season.

Posen hosts powerful Cedarville Tuesday then play at AuGres Dec. 13.

A full preview of the seasons featuring all of the high school varsity teams will be presented in PIN’s Winter Sports Special, set for publication Dec. 19-20. Featured teams will be wrestling, cheerleading, boys basketball, bowling, and volleyball.
