Miss RC pageant Friday at RCHS

Final preparations are in the works for this year’s Nautical City Queen’s Pageant set for Friday at 7 p.m. at Rogers City High School. The pageant is both a look to the future and honoring the past. The pageant will add a new category while honoring the past 50 years of queens.
Peyton Gohl is last year’s Miss Nautical Coast and Moya Newman is last year’s teen winner.
The 2026 pageant has nine participants in three age categories.
The three Miss Rogers City contestants are: Lucy Haselhuhn, the daughter of Dave and Deedra Haselhuhn; Kaitlyn Wodkowski, the daughter of Adrienne and John Wodkowski; and Ava Fenstermaker, the daughter of Jesse and Jennifer Fenstermaker.
The four teen contestants are: Charleigh Comerford, the daughter of Erika Comerford and Philip Comerford; Makayla Dodge the daughter of Maricar Dodge and Steven Dodge; Morgan Pilarski, the daughter of Bryan and Kelli Pilarski; and Natalie Tackitt, the daughter of Mike and Melissa Tackitt
The two contestants for Junior Miss, the youngest category, are: Caroline Supina, the daughter of Jackie and John Supina and Molly Pilarski the daughter of Bryan and Kelli Pilarski.
Milissa Bannon, who has directed the last 12 pageants, and co-director Nicole Bannasch return as directors of the pageant while Heather Pines and Kellie Socia, who are both former Miss Rogers City, will serve as mistresses of ceremonies for the evening.
“We are excited to reinstate the former pageant title of Miss Rogers City back to the program, and with this being an anniversary year, it was just fitting to bring it back,” Bannon said.
The pageant will be Friday, July 24, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the program starting at 7 p.m. sharp. There will be raffle baskets and 50-50 drawings to help benefit the scholarship fund for future queens’ college education. Tickets are $15 for adults in advance, $10 for ages 10 and under at the door, $20 for adults.
