Cardinal girls see winning streak come to an end with loss at J-L

The Onaway High School varsity girls’ basketball team saw its seven-game winning streak come to an end last Wednesday at undefeated Johannesburg-Lewiston, 70-27.

The loss – the second for Onaway against J-L this season – dropped the Cardinals’ record to 9-3 (6-3 Ski Valley Conference). The only other team to beat OHS this season is Gaylord St. Mary, whom the Cards hosted yesterday (Thursday).
