New Year’s baby arrives to Geyer household
(Jan. 6) Aubry Clair Geyer is the ?First Baby of the Year? in the Advance?s annual ?New Year?s Baby? contest. Aubry Clair is the daughter of Dean and Jennifer Geyer of Rogers City and arrived at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital at 6:13 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2003.
Aubry weighed in at seven pounds, three ounces and was 20 inches in length. The grandparents are Virginia and Quentin Cromwell of Swartz Creek, and Donna Geyer of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
Aubry Clair is named after her grandfather, the late Clair Geyer. Her father, Dean, has lived in Rogers City since 1999 and is a sailor for the Interlake Steamship Company.
Jennifer moved to Rogers City in October and works at the Rogers City Rehabilitation Hospital as a physical therapist assistant. Jennifer will stay at home for a while with Aubry before returning to her position.
The Geyers will be the recipients of many fine gifts from area merchants. They will be collecting those gifts within the next few weeks.
