Hurons defend title in Bill Barrett wrestling tournament Saturday

The Huron wrestlers defended their title when they hosted the second annual Bill Barrett Memorial in the RCHS gym Saturday. Rogers City won the inaugural event, which used to be called the Rogers City Super Dual, last season. The event is named in memory of Bill Barrett, the founder of the Huron wrestling program and long time RCHS high school government teacher.

Participating schools this year included Alpena, Beal City, Onaway, Newberry, Cheboygan, St. Ignace, and Sault Ste. Marie.
