Sgt. Edward James Boudrie

Sgt. Edward James Boudrie, 24, of Alpena serving in the United States Marine Corps. in Germany died Friday August 14, 2015. Sgt. Boudrie served two tours in Afghanistan. Edward was born in Monroe November 23, 1990.

Edward graduated from ACES (Alternative Choices for Educational Success) Academy in 2009 and following from MCRD, San Diego in 2010. He enjoyed motorcycles and fast cars and participated in wrestling, football, and track and field.

Edward is survived by his parents, Lisa and Norman Stepanski, and Lindsey M. Boudrie; a brother, Bryan Boudrie; a sister, Aimee Boudrie; grandparents, Wayne and Judy Killion, and Jeanette Boudrie; two nieces, Cherish and Kaycee; a uncle Jeff Killion and family; an aunt Linda Smock; Alfred Boudrie Jr. and family; an Uncle Jack Smock; and many cousins, family, and friends.

Edward was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfred Boudrie Sr.; great-grandparents, Pvt. Conley Curt and Mildred Collingsworth; John and Dorothy Cooper, and Charles and Doris Diamond; and cousin, Collin Killion.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bannan Funeral Home, Alpena.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
