James J. Hermanek, 94, U.S. Navy, World War II veteran passed away March 14, 2016. He was the loving son of the late Charles and the late Bessie Hermanek; cherished brother of the late Charlotte Hermanek.

Jim cherished his friends, family and dogs, and the times he spent in the north woods of Wisconsin, especially Presque Isle.

Visitation is Friday, March 18, 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral is Saturday, March 19, 9:15 a.m., from Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St. (1 blk. south of Ogden Ave.), Downers Grove to St. Mary of Gostyn Church.
