Shirley Mae Karsten, 85, of Rogers City passed away at home May 10, 2016. She was born September 12, 1930 in Dearborn to Clifford and Beulah (Bennett) Fater.

Mrs. Karsten is survived by four children, Kathleen (James) Yates of Pinckney, Deborah (Mark) Quaine of Lachine, Sherri May of Ohio and Kenneth (Jane) Karsten of Rogers City; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Moltke.
Arrangements are in care of the Beck Funeral Home.
