Theodore Zubal

Theodore Zubal, 84, of Alpena passed away September 15, 2017 at Tendercare Alpena.

He was born May 21, 1933 in Detroit to Simon and Rose (Gabeletto) Zubal.

Mr. Zubal and his wife, Loretta, owned and operated Zubal Party All in Presque Isle for many years. He enjoyed hunting deer and rabbits. He and Loretta enjoyed spending their winters in Florida.

Theodore is survived by his son, Ted of Presque Isle; three grandchildren, Curtis Zubal of

Presque Isle, Ryan Zubal of Petoskey and Desiree Zubal of Alpena; two great-grandchildren, Brooke and Payton; and a sister, Rose Marie Castronova.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Rose; wife, Loretta; four brothers, Bernard, Simon, Johnny and Milton Zubal; and a sister, Ella Jean Zubal.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Saturday, September 23 from noon through time of funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the Presque Isle Township Cemetery next to his wife, Loretta.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Theodore Zubal to a charity of your choice.
