Doris Jean Sabin, 75, of Rogers City passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 28, 2017.

She was born November 23, 1942 in Alpena to Raymond and Isabelle (Winfield) Sabin.

She is survived by five children, Barbara (Perry Wood) Zielaskowski, Raymond Schefke, Thomas (Penny) Jones, Kirk Jones and Amy Bloom; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Jaeger; two nieces;
four great-nieces; and a great-nephew. She is also survived by special friends, Kathy (Art) Bruning and
Carol (Julian Budnick) Erickson.

Visitation was at Westminster Presbyterian Church Saturday, December 2 through the time of her memorial service with the Revs. Karen and Dr. Greg Zurakowski officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Huron Humane Society or Vital Care/Hospice of the Sunrise Shore in memory of Doris Sabin.
