Eunice M. Abshagen
Eunice M. Abshagen, 95 of Rogers City, formerly of Decatur, passed away December 10, 2017 at Tendercare – Rogers City. Eunice was born in Decatur, the daughter of Harvey and Fern (Charles) Hall.
She was formerly employed at the Minnie’s Coffee Cafe and later at Hard Times Restaurant.
She is survived by a son, Charles (Sharon) Abshagen Jr. of Onaway; three grandchildren, Douglas (Kazuna) Abshagen and their children, Shealyn and Benjamin, Danica (Jeff) Nowak and their children Kyler and Allie, Denise (Dan) Kudra and their children, Ava, Ellie and Ethan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charles Abshagen Sr.; her parents, Harvey and Fern (Charles) Hall; and all of her siblings, Wallace, James, Thelma, Wayne, Eusebia and Jeanette.
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. Visitation starts 1 p.m. at Newell Funeral Home in Decatur with the Rev. David Rogers of Rogers City Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Decatur.
