She was born June 9, 1932 to Milford and Zella (Saunders) Cook.

Per Mom’s wishes, no fanfare – she lived her life to the fullest, one challenge at a time, doing things for others to help them and make them happy. She loved her family to the fullest and they were always first. “Life has been one learning experience after another for me and loved it all. Sadly I have to leave my four-legged fur babies, especially Master Rufus ‘Ruffie’ and Princess ‘My little Miss Muffet’ and many friends and neighbors, they all meant happiness to me.”

She also leaves behind, and will be missed by her husband, Leonids “Lee”; three children,
Raymond (MaryeGrace) Punches Jr. of Wyoming, Tammi (Michael) Harvey of Comstock Park and
Joni Lyn (Craig) Pantelin of Stanwood; four grandchildren, Angela (Jim) Waltanski, Nicholas (Dez) Pantelin, Shawnell (Erica Schaub) Pantelin and Ginger (fiancé, Ben Beaudin) Punches; seven great-grandchildren, Deanna, Ava, Hunter and Fischer Pantelin, and Alex, Austin and Trinity Miedema; five siblings, Ethel Rutherford, Don (Jeanette) Cook, Richard (Patty) Cook, Marcia Schnipke and Dale Lohman; she is also survived by
five grandcats.

Maralyn was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond A. Punches; second husband, Herb Elliott; three siblings, Melbourne, Jack and Milford “Spike”; and many furry friends that will meet her at the Rainbow Bridge.

Arrangements are in care of the Beck
