Dale Schaudt

Dale Schaudt, 74, beloved husband, father and grandpa passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family December 18, 2018. Son of the late Roland and Viola (Kortman) Schaudt. Dale was born June 12, 1944 in Rogers City.  He married Linda Bahrke October 13, 1973. Dale owned and operated Schaudt’s Body Shop for many years, and then he started Schaudt’s Logging, which he retired from after 30 plus years.  Dale was a man of all trades, he was always there to help family and friends whenever he was needed, he truly had a heart of gold and was a very special man. Dale loved camping, fishing, hunting and more than anything he loved spending time with his two grandsons, D.J. and Clayton and his family.

Dale is survived by his wife, Linda; two daughters, Brenda (Brent) Mattish and Lisa (Tony) Snyder, both of Hillman; two grandsons, D.J. Mattish and Clayton Snyder; five brothers, Harley, Neil (Geraldine), Lloyd, Chuck and Marv (Dorothy) Schaudt; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion Max.
