Evelyn Matilda Wolgast
Evelyn Matilda Wolgast, 96, of Ocqueoc Twp., passed away at Evergreen AFC Home May 12, 2019.
She was born December 18, 1922 in Ocqueoc to William and Caroline (Wemert) Ganske.
Mrs. Wolgast is survived by two children, Juanita (Neil) Sorgenfrei of Moltke and Lenny Wolgast of Ocqueoc; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine Orcutt of Alpena and Carol Brownell of Flushing; a daughter-in-law, Grace Wolgast of Ocqueoc; and a son-in-law, Larry Schaedig of Rogers City.
Visitation was at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moltke Township Wednesday through time of her funeral with the Rev. Kurt Lambart officiating.
Interment took place next to her husband at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church in memory of Evelyn Wolgast. Arrangements are in care of the Beck Funeral Home.
