Cheryl G. Bursey

Cheryl G. Bursey, 69, of Ocqueoc passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 26, 2020.

She was born October 1, 1950 in Pontiac to Robert and Wanda (Kelley) McCallum.

On July 13, 1968 she married James Bursey in Pontiac. They moved to Millersburg in 1970. Cheryl retired from Cadillac Products after 17 years of employment. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids. She loved planting flowers with her grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to the beach, resale shopping, vacuuming, mowing the lawn, horses, mending fences and tending to the family farm and watching her daughter compete in horse shows.

ved by her husband, James Sr.; five children, James (Danielle) Bursey Jr. of Indian River, Renee (Jamie) Szymanski of Millersburg, Shanna (Kevin Drew) Bursey of Ocqueoc, Heidi (Cory) Davis of Rogers City and Amanda (Tom Brewbaker) Bursey of Millersburg; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Stormi Raine Whitley and Jarred Bursey; four siblings, Ricky, Linda, Ronnie and Karen; and her four-legged friends, Molly and Vera.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jeff; and her parents, Robert and Wanda. Private services will take place at a later date.
