Irene Kowalski, 89, of Metz passed away May 7, 2020 at Medilodge in Rogers City. She was born August 6, 1930 in Metz to Anthony and Clara (Gorlewski) Pine.

She is survived by three children, Jeanette (Neil) Fleming of Metz, Ron (Teresa) Kowalski of Posen and Glenn Kowalski of Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Albert (Lucille), Art (Barb), Ben, Paul, Joe, Marian (Louis) Urban and Delores Bruski; and a sister-in-law, Cecelia Chojnacki.

Visitation was at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Metz Monday, May 11, through time of her funeral with the Rev. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Burial followed at St. Dominic Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials be given to the activities room at Rogers City Medilodge or to a charity of friends’ choice. Arrangements are in care of the Beck Funeral Home.
