Joyce Pearl Roberts

Joyce Pearl Roberts died April 29, 2020 at MyDoctor’s Inn, Sterling Heights at the age of 94.  She was born April 22, 1926 in Belknap Township to Earl Heslip and Pearl Kerr Heslip. 

She grew up in the Rogers City area graduating from Rogers City High School in 1944. After graduation she moved to Saint Clair Shores where she worked as a secretary. She married John Gerard Roberts May 2, 1953. They lived in Michigan and Florida during their marriage. 

Upon retirement, she moved back to her beloved Florida for over&nbs

p;18 years.  Joyce spent her last seven years in Michigan, enjoying birthdays and holidays with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra (Bryan) Howay; a son, Mark Roberts; granddaughters, Kerry and Emily Roberts; a son, Donald (Donna) Roberts; a grandson, Kyle Roberts; a son, Scott (Alejandra) Roberts; and grandchildren, Nieza, Sebastian and Maxwell Roberts.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Roberts, August 1978; her parents; and her sister, Elaine Fredrick. Cremation has taken place, interment will be held at a future date.
