Jill Loraine (Elowsky) Porter

Jill Loraine (Elowsky) Porter, 81, joins her beloved husband, Delmer Porter, and her son, Bradley Porter, in the loving arms of the everlasting Father, our Lord.

A Millersburg native and daughter of Harold Elowsky and Loraine (Bruder) Elowsky, Jill graduated from Onaway High School and was a state of Michigan certified cosmetologist.

In a family of nine, she will be joining her stepbrother, Donald Hawks; brothers, Fred and Paul; and her younger sister, Kay.She leaves behind brothers, Myles and Raymond; and sisters, Lois and Irene. She also leaves behind her son, Tad; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jill’s honor be sent to Presque Isle County Council on Aging (PICCOA), 6520 Darga Highway, Posen, Michigan 49776-9759. Visitation was held at Chagnon Funeral Home followed by a private funeral service. Jill’s final resting place is in Millersburg at Riverside Cemetery.
