Leo John Durecki, 84, of Rogers City passed away July 14, 2020 at home. He was born April 8, 1936 in Rogers City to Frank and Frances (Hincka) Durecki.

Mr. Durecki is survived by his wife, Sally; children, Gregory (Vicki) Durecki of Wisconsin, Terry Durecki of Alaska and Julie Sharrow of Detroit; three stepchildren, Charles (Kay) Hastings of Florida; Roger (Susan) Hastings of Chicago and Kim (Ladd) Stone of Alpena; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Friday, July 17, beginning with the rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by visitation until the time of his funeral at 11 a.m. with Sister Mary Michelz officiating.

Rogers City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 607 will accord military honors immediately following.

Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Ignatius Catholic School’s Angel Fund or Hospice of Michigan in memory of Leo Durecki.
