Walter “Walt” J. Buza
The family of Walter “Walt” J. Buza announce his passing September 15, 2020 at Apache Junction, Arizona. Walt had encountered serious health problems including a heart condition and strokes.
Walt is survived by his wife, Linda; a daughter, Kathryn Wood; a son, John Buza and wife Maricel; two grandsons, Kristopher Wood, wife Heidi and Kamerin Wood; three great-grandchildren, Grayson, Adelaide and Heinrick Wood; a sister, Mrs. Rozaland Kowalski and husband Richard; a brother-in-law, John Ermatinger, wife Doris; and many nieces and nephews.
Walt was born April 20, 1937 in Rogers City to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Buza Sr.
Walt graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering in 1960.
Walt’s career spanned 40 years where he worked a
Walt enjoyed playing competitive tennis and bridge with family and friends. Walt will most be remembered for his wonderful laugh, his kindness, and over all sweet and caring demeanor.
Walt’s family appreciates the thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow and grieving.
We are only comforted in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is with our Lord in heaven.
A celebration of life will be planned in the summer of 2021.
