Kali Rose Gonzalez
Kali Rose Gonzalez, 29, of Hastings passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 16, 2022.
Kali was born November 11, 1992, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Ben Gonzalez and Michelle McLean. She attended St. Rose Elementary and Hastings High School.
Kali was a loving mother, daughter and sister. Kali had a love for music, her children and her family. Her laugh was infectious and would light up any room that she walked into. She was very social, and loved to be around people.
Kali is preceded in death by her older sister, Chelsea Gonzalez; great-grandmother, Rose Froede; and her grandparents, John and Judith McLean.
She is survived by her children, Ava Mead and Ava’s father, Patrick (P.J.) Mead; and a son, Peyton Vincent; her parents, Michelle (Michael) McLean, and Ben (Kellie) Gonzalez; grandparents, Ben (Joyce) Gonzalez, Vicky (
The family received visitors Tuesday, September 20, at the Daniels Funeral Home – Hastings.
Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, September 21, at St. Rose Lima Catholic Church in Hastings.
There was a time of fellowship and luncheon immediately following the funeral Mass at the Hastings Elks Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Rose Catholic School.
