Gary Oikarinen
Gary Oikarinen passed away peacefully surrounded by his family December 6, 2023, and is finally at rest after a seven-year battle with cancer. He was born December 5, 1969.
Gary is survived by his two children, Kim (Tim) Lytle and Dalton Oikarinen; a brother, Dennis (Tammy) Oikarinen; a sister, Michele (Jon) Houston; his father, Dennis Oikarinen; along with many other family members. Preceding Gary in death was his mother, Pamela (Jewell) Huddleston.
Gary loved the outdoors, tinkering on things and spoiling his dog, Mary. He was a loyal employee for over 30 years at Tube Fab in Afton, where he enjoyed his work and was an avid Lions’ fan.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring following an interment ceremony at Oak hill Cemetery in Cheboygan.
