Ralph Brian Viegelahn

Ralph Brian Viegelahn, 66, of Rogers City passed away December 16, 2023 with his family by his side.

He was born July 16, 1957 in Rogers City to Howard and Kathleen (O’Toole) Viegelahn.

Ralph will be remembered as a truly loving man whose kindness left a mark on the hearts of all who knew him. His commitment to his farm, and more so his love for potatoes, will never be forgotten. However, the commitment and love for his family will always live on. He cherished his wife, children and grandchildren with a warmth that enveloped them in a lifetime of joy.

“He was the best dad, father-in-law and grandpa/poppy.” 

Ralph is survived by his wife Kerry; children, Jesse (Jenney) Streich, Branden (Julie) Streich, Isaac (Abbey) Streich, Hilary (Zak) McLennan and Hannah (Kyle) Viegelahn; nine grandchildren, Cameron, Jay, Reagan, Emma, Claire, Neveah, Tyler, Addisyn and Ayden. He is also survived by his four brothers, John (Sue), David (Kathleen), Howard (Jackie) and Mark (Roberta); a sister, Mary (Mike Brown); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his

parents. 

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Thursday, December 28, from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will resume at Westminster Presbyterian Church Friday, December 29, from 10 a.m. until time of his funeral at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Greg and the Rev. Karen Zurakowski officiating.

A luncheon will follow at UpNorth 23 Restaurant & Lounge.

Burial will take place at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Hagensville.
