Anthony “Tony” Earl Trapp
Anthony “Tony” Earl Trapp, 82, of Hawks passed away peacefully at Medilodge in Alpena April 2, 2024.
He was born in Harbor Beach March 12, 1942 to Ralph and Erna (Boettcher) Trapp.
Following high school Tony served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Calcite as a lab tech. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, trips to the casino and traveling with his wife, Wilma.
Tony is survived by two daughters, Corrie (Erick) Gottlieb of Minnesota and Shellie (Joe) Kasuba of Indian River; a sister, Emily Campa; two brothers, John (Paulette) Trapp and Dave (Sue) Trapp; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Boo Boo the cat.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; and a brother-in-law, Ron Campa.
Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Saturday, April 6, through time of his funeral where the Rogers City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 607 offered a military tribute.
Burial followed at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Hawks. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Michigan in memory of Tony Trapp. For further information and a place for online condolences can be found at www. beckfuneralhome.org.
