James “Jim” Jay Urlaub
James “Jim” Jay Urlaub, 60, of Rogers City passed away peacefully at Medilodge in Rogers City April 5, 2024.
He was born March 20, 1964 in Rogers City to Robert and Linda (Teeples) Urlaub.
Jim attended St. John Lutheran School and Rogers City High School. He was a gifted musician who could play any music beautifully on the piano by ear. During the holidays he would entertain his family by playing favorite songs.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Linda; two sisters, Roberta “Bobbie” Urlaub and Kris (Bobby) Lijewski; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private visitation and funeral will take place at the Beck Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in memory of James Urlaub to St. John Lutheran School or to the American Cancer Society.
Jim’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Payton, Kelly and Shawn and everyone at the Payton AFC Home in Elmira for their excellent care of Jim.
