Milton “David” Gee
Milton “David” Gee, 88, of Onaway, died at home Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Born in Goodrich, Dave was the son of Amos Milton and Lillian Mae (Graves) Gee. On December 28, 1957, he married Ruth “Faye” Everingham in Onaway, beginning a loving partnership that would span nearly seven decades. Together they made their home in Flint, where Dave worked as a supervisor at the General Motors Co. V8 plant. After 27 years with General Motors Co., Dave retired in 1990, and he and Faye moved north to Onaway, to enjoy their retirement years.
A proud veteran, Dave served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1960, including overseas service during the occupation of Berlin.
His commitment to his country and to fellow service members continued long after his time in uniform, as he remained an active and dedicated member of Onaway Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5857.
Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Faye Gee of Onaway; his sons, David Gee (Carlene Wid
Dave was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Judith Kay.
In keeping with Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. His family honored his life with a graveside service, including military honors by the Onaway Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5857, held at Hillcrest Cemetery Wednesday, July 22.
