Marilyn Ruth Stone
Marilyn Ruth Stone passed away peacefully August 20, 2026, at the age of 95.

Born to John Carl and Martha Minnie Miller June 14, 1931, Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Rogers City and, most recently, Belknap.
She graduated from Rogers City High School in 1949 and went on to business school in Bay City.
Marilyn met Paul at a Christmas dance at Cash’s Bar in 1951, and they were married March 1, 1952.
She was a devoted sailor’s wife, with all that that entails, and raised three children, Erik, Heather and Holly.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed crafting, collecting antiques, reading, birdwatching from her front porch and maintaining the gardens at her home, where she resided until her passing.
Above all, Marilyn’s greatest legac
Marilyn is survived by her children, Erik (Meg VanMeter), Heather and Holly Stone-Ravazzani (Scott); five grandchildren, Lindsay, Justin, Patrick, Kiley and Blake; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul; her parents, John and Martha Miller; her brother, Melvin Miller (Lorraine); and her sisters, Jacqueline Andrzejewski (Andy) and Carol Przybyla (Jim Przybyla; the late Tom Wodek).
A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
