Margaret “Margie” “Marge” Ann Budnick Vogler

Margaret “Margie” “Marge” Ann Budnick Vogler, 82, of Lake Orion passed away October 29, 2022. Margaret was born December 24, 1939 in Rogers City to Julius and Theresa Budnick and had eight brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her three children, Fredric (Colleen) Vogler, Karen (Robert) Dobleske and Scott (Kelly) Vogler. Marge was blessed to be a grandma to nine grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan, Zachary, Macy, Madison, Logan, Natalie, Madison and Jacob; and two great-grandchildren, Ivan and Norman. She is survived by three brothers, Julian, Gerald and James; and was a special aunt to many.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Vogler, who she loved dearly; her parents, Julius and Theresa; a sister, Eleanor; and brothers, Frank, Raymond, Richard, Leonard and William.

Marge was the epitome of a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, always putting the happiness of those she loved before herself, a true servant of God. She was a woman of great strength and youthful energy. She cared deeply for all and was incredibly thoughtful of everyone she met. Marge was a magician in the kitchen and was famously known for her frosted sugar cookies and strawberry jam. She showed her love to others through her recipes and thrived off the enjoyment that they provided. Her kitchen table was a place of many cherished conversations, whether over beer, coffee, or food with either soap operas or game shows playing loud in the background. She always appreciated visitors stopping by, planned or unplanned, and made sure no one ever left her house empty handed. Marge found gre

at joy in sending cards to loved ones for every occasion. She looked forward to flower shopping in the spring and always maintained a beautiful yard. She loved the Hallmark Channel and was an avid Red Wings’ fan. Marge’s passions included bowling and playing cards, where she could let her competitiveness shine alongside her best of friends and never passed on an (Michelob) ULTRA good time. Margaret will be dearly missed by all that knew her. And as she used to say to her grandchildren: See you later alligator, after while crocodile. See you around like a donut.

She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy.
