Shirley S. Ormsbee

Shirley S. Ormsbee, 70, of Onaway, died Monday, February 13, 2023 at McLaren Northern Michigan hospital in Petoskey. She is survived by her husband, Mitchel Ormsbee of Onaway; daughters, Rebecca and Rhonda Ormsbee, both of Petoskey; sons, Michael (Lisa) Ormsbee of Walled Lake and Aaron Ormsbee  (Angelina O’Brien) of Cheboygan; six grandchildren; as well as her sister, Janet (Manuel) Farrugia of Almont; brothers, Dale (Val) Walters of Troy and Ronald (Pam) Walters of Woodhaven; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Shirley’s family will receive friends Sunday, February 19, from 2 p.m. until the time of her memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. at Remnant Church of Jesus Christ in Onaway. Those planning an expression of sympathy please consider a donation in memory of Shirley to her family to help with final expenses. Cremation arrangements were in care of Chagnon Funeral Home.
