Eugene Royal Wenzel, 84, of Rogers Township passed away February 8, 2026 at Medilodge in Rogers City.

He was born August 19, 1941 in Rogers City to Richard and Lorene (Curtis) Wenzel.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen; a daughter, Kimberly Wenzel; three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and siblings, Ronald (Betty), Terry, Richard, Gerald and Lila.

A memorial service will take place a later date. Inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Hospice Compassus in memory of Eugene Wenzel.
