Dennis Lee Heythaler
Dennis Lee Heythaler, 62, of Cheboygan, died at home Thursday, July 7, 2016. The son of Delbert and Dorsallia “Sally” (Morgan) Heythaler, Dennis was born April 28, 1954 in Onaway. He married Sherry Lou Benaway in Flint July 21, 1973.
Surviving Dennis are his three sons, Frederick (Amy Jo), Jeremy and Joseph (Christen) Heythaler, all of Cheboygan; grandchildren, Samantha, Urijah and Hazel; and mother, Sally Heythaler of Onaway. Dennis also leaves his brothers, Donald (Blaire), Danny (Kerry) and Delbert Heythaler, all of Onaway; and sisters, Debbie (Tom) Pauly of Onaway, Diane Heythaler and Dawn Chasse, both of Cheboygan; as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held at the Chagnon Funeral Home Monday, July 11, with a prayer service that evening. The funeral Mass was held at St. Paul Catholic Church Tuesday. The Rev. Peter Eke officiated. Interment was at North Allis Township Cemetery.
