Mary Catherine English, 96, of Pontiac passed away July 24, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin.

She is survived by her children, Janet (late Michael) Thomas, Charles (Christine) English, Cecelia (Robert) Wiar, Patricia (John) Knorp, Wayne (Christine) English and Mark (Karen) English; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Lotz and late Rose Owen.

Mary retired from Pontiac Schools as cafeteria manager and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Friends may visit at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston Sunday 3 – 8 p.m. with a prayer service at Sunday at 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston. Rite of Committal will be at Ottawa Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul/St. Daniel or Eternal Word Television Network. Online guestbook www.wintfuneralhome.com.
