Fall colors beginning in northern Michigan

WITH THE beginning of fall  Sept. 22 fall color tours are just around the corner.

According to the Pure Michigan fall color page, this year, it looks like we may see the fall colors earlier than normal. That comes after a very warm and dry 2016 that postponed the changing of the leaves.
