Marilyn Hathaway Cordes

Marilyn Hathaway Cordes, 59, of Hillman, passed away April 29, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. 

She leaves behind her son, Billy and fiancé Robert Milspaugh III. She was the beloved daughter of Goldie (Norman) Grambau and Marlyn (Mary) Hathaway; and loving sister of Sue (Gary) Wilson, Julie Hathaway, Steve (Kathy) Tennant, Pat (Cletus) Watson, Janet Tennant, Robin (Jim) Godfrey and Lee Grambau. Marilyn leaves behind many special aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved all very much. Marilyn also leaves behind her very special friend, Jill Mclaughlin.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Bill (William) Cordes; her parents; and grandparents. 

Marilyn worked as a security officer at Calcite and Wayne Wire in Hillman. Marilyn was a great collector of Indian dream catchers and loved her family and animals dearly. Marilyn’s memorial service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Royston (Hillman) Saturday, May 18 at 1 p.m.
