Michael Edward Toth

Michael Edward Toth, 77, of Hawks passed away peacefully at home May 21, 2019. He was born March 27, 1942 in Detroit to Stephen and Berneda (Riopelle) Toth.

Michael served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Salamonie. He retired as a train master from DT&I and Grand Trunk Western Railroad. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, teaching, cabinet building and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his children, Camilla (Allen) Johnson of Riverside, Ohio, Michele (Dan) McCown of Riverside, Ohio, Michael Toth of Hawks, Matthew Toth of Colorado and Nicholas Toth of Rogers City; grandchildren, Amanda Toth, Allen Michael Johnson, Autumn Johnson, Elizabeth Kleiber, Mat

thew Toth and Payton Marshall; siblings, Robert (Kathy) Toth, William Toth, Mary Ann Toth and Joseph (Monika) Toth. 

Mr. Toth was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Berneda; granddaughter, Amanda; and his four-legged companion, Coco. Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Saturday, May 25,  from 2 p.m. through time of his funeral at 4 p.m. with Mr. Carl Altman officiating. Rogers City Veterans of Foreign Wars will offer a military tribute immediately following. 

Interment will follow at St. Dominic Catholic Cemetery.
