MPA urges governor to keep newspapers ‘essential’ should shelter in place order be issued

Michigan Press Association (MPA) executive director James Tarrant and board president Richard Lamb sent the following letter to Governor Whitmer March 19 to urge her to consider newspapers an essential service in the event of a shelter in place order.
