A devoted mother and grandmother, Brenda’s life revolved around her family. She loved her children and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and other school activities. When getting out became difficult for Brenda, she made it a point to watch their games and other events on the local cable station. She definitely was a proud grandma. An excellent cook, Brenda took pride in making wonderful holiday meals and making special days memorable for her family.

Brenda enjoyed crocheting and was always making a blanket, hat, or scarf for someone. Before her health declined, she enjoyed flower gardening with her appreciation for nature’s beauty reflected in the beautiful blooms she grew around her home. Perhaps it was in her flower gardens that she first came to love hummingbirds. They were her favorite; Brenda was always delighted to see these energetic, fascinating, tiny birds. Above all, Brenda enjoyed the time spent with her family. Whether it was sharing a meal together or spending a Friday night watching scary movies or sci-fi, Brenda was always happy and content to be with her family.

Well-loved, Brenda was affectionately known as “Aunt B.” She put others first and was loving, caring and thoughtful. With her bubbly personality and a touch of spunk, Brenda was quite feisty, always joking and happy. She will be sadly missed but remain in our hearts forever.

Surviving Brenda is her daughter, Tina (Brian) Hilliker of Tower; a son, Mike Millitello of Petoskey; and grandchildren, Breeanna (Jessica) Harry, Christina Hilliker, Brendan Hilliker and Hudson Fenstermaker. Brend

a also leaves her sister, Barbara Ann (Ross) Crull of Florida; brothers, Marty (Teresa) Meyers and Marvin (Karen) Meyers, both of Afton; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her former husband and good friend, Chris Millitello.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Danny Jubb; and a niece, Beth Jubb.
