Shirley Irene Levely
Shirley Irene Levely, 80, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Florida.
Born in Rochester September 2, 1939, she was the only child of Edwin and Eva Kirchofer.
Shirley spent the majority of her career working at the Presque Isle County clerkâs office.
After retiring she split her time between Onaway and Sebring. Throughout retirement she enjoyed swimming, crocheting, bingo and taking her dog Roxie for walks.
She is survived by her spouse, Michael Levely; children, Luanne Gary of St. Petersburg, Florida, David (Martha) Gary of Victorville, California, Brian Gary of Cheboygan and Jennifer (Kim) Reamer of Rockford; grandchildren, Philip Nowicki, Jason (Iris) Gary, Richard (Tifanie) Gary, Natasha (Frank) Carmody, Cherise Gary, Alexis Reamer and Jade Reamer; and nine great-grandchildren.
Interment will take place at a future date in Michigan.
Shirley was a strong woman who never complained even when times were tough.
She will be remembered for her kindness and humor and will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
