Harry John Jaeger

Harry John Jaeger, 60, of Rogers City passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Monday, August 24, 2020.

He was born September 20, 1959 in Rogers City to Harry and Frances (Modrzynski) Jaeger.

Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling and bowling. When he was a teenager he participated in area boxing where he took the Golden Glove Championship. On July 3, 1982 he married Priscilla Fuhrman at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Most of his working life, Harry was an automotive service technician working for Lutz Automotive Repair then in 1991 he and his brother-in-law, Stanley Krajnik started KJ Inc. in Rogers City. 

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Priscilla; a son, Christopher Jon (Brianne) of Rogers City; two grandchildren, Vincent and Kenzie; four sisters, Anna, Joanne, Carla and Katrina; and several nieces and nephews.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Frances.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Monday, August 31 from 6 p.m. through time of his memorial service at 7 p.m. with the Revs. Dr. Greg and Karen Zurakowski officiating.

Memorials may be given to Rogers City Fire Department’s Stomp out the Cold campaign or McLaren Hospice in memory of Harry Jaeger.
