George E. McDonald III
George E. McDonald III, 46, of Naples, Florida passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Naples Community Hospital. Born in Saginaw May 11, 1975, George was the son of George E. McDonald II and Shirley Anne (McClary) McDonald.
George was raised in Saginaw as well as living in Onaway for a time. A cement mason by trade, George worked in Naples, Florida where he had been living for the past 10 years. He was a gifted artist with amazing talent for drawing and painting. An avid runner and kickboxer, George trained, ran marathons and was in excellent physical condition.
Surviving George is his daughter, Molly Jo (Shawn) DeGroff; grandchildren, Wade and Keiran; a sister, Tawny Stiles; nieces, Nishoney Langworthy and family, and Terri Stiles and family; aunts, Lynda (Rod) Leach, Tammy (Rick) Webb, Debra Farley, Sue Shirley, Cheryl McDonald and Kathy McDonald; uncles, Jim McDonald and Duncan McDonald; as well as many cousins. George was preceded in death by his father, George; mother, Shirley “Sis”; uncles, Mike and Joe McDonald; and his grandmothers, Deloris McDonald and Joyce Lonsdale.
A graveside memorial will be held at North Allis Cemetery at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, followed by a luncheon at 4 p.m. at the Millersburg Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 4482 Those planning an expression of sympathy please plant a tree in memory of George or contribute to your favorite charity.
